    Reporting directly to the National Leader, Human Resources, the Senior Manager, Human Resources, East is responsible for leading a team of HR professionals who provide strategic, advisory services to the Managing Partner and business leaders in the Audit & Assurance, Tax and Advisory Services in three offices and 42 locations across Eastern Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic provinces. The Senior Manager, Human Resources sits on the National HR Leadership Team and works closely with the National Leader Human Resources and CoEs to inform and execute all aspects of the National Human Resources Strategy. The Senior Manager HR, East leads key talent processes including performance, change, compensation, employee relations, workforce planning and mergers & acquisitions.


    Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

    • Build and maintain strong, trusted advisory relationships with the Managing Partner, East, the East Leaders and clients
    • Lead a team of 4 (2 direct and 2 indirect) HR professionals to provide exceptional talent advisory services and implement all elements of the National Human Resources Strategy
    • Plans and executes performance, compensation and promotion processes
    • Advise leaders on complex talent matters in the areas of employee relations and engagement, performance, rewards, organizational structure, workforce planning, inclusion and diversity, development, talent acquisition, policy application and others as required
    • Partner with CoEs to deliver solutions that address business needs
    • Provide ongoing strategic advice, and coaching to enables leaders to position their people for firm, professional and personal success;
    • Manage the East HR team to ensure clear performance expectations feedback and rewards
    • Works with the HRLT and National Leader, Human Resources to inform the National Talent Strategy
    • Leads National HR projects

    • CHRL designation is an asset
    • Minimum 8 years progressive HR experience
    • Experience leading a team of HR professionals
    • Exceptional ability to advise and influence clients
    • Strong strategic thinking/planning experience
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, written and presentation)
    • Superior time management and ability to effectively manage conflicting priorities and interests
    • Bilingualism is mandatory
