    Position Summary
    BDO Canada's Barrie office is seeking a qualified Bookkeeping Supervisor to join their growing Outsourcing team.

     

    Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

    • Lead a team of technicians; assign work, coach and supervise.
    • Builds effective working relationships with clients, Outsourcing staff and Managers
    • Assists with annual performance reviews and evaluations of Outsourcing Staff.
    • Keep Senior Manager informed on status of files and issues as required.
    • Prepares more complex engagements.
    • Focusses the team on meeting monthly filing deadlines.
    • Assist the Senior Manager with creation of quotes for new engagements and onboarding of new clients.

     

    Education and Key Professional Skills/Knowledge

    • 4+ years of professional experience in an accounting role.
    • Prior internal and external client service and conflict resolution experience.
    • Post-secondary diploma or certificate in Accounting or Business.
    • Ability to prioritize workloads and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
    • Completes additional ad-hoc duties or assignments as required.
    • High values in teamwork, client service and professionalism.
