    Position Summary

    BDO Canada s.r.l./S.E.N.C.R.L./LLP is looking for a candidate to fill the position of Office Clerk in its Montreal downtown office.


    Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities



    • Manage client file classification according to existing processes
    • Make and print labels
    • Help searching for files
    • Retrieve archived files
    • Lift file boxes for distribution to requesters (using a trolley)
    • Roll over outstanding files with archives

    Conference kitchen and conference room responsibilities

    • Purchase food and kitchen supplies as required
    • Lift and stack boxes of soft drinks, water, etc.
    • Prepare and serve coffee as required
    • Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch and dinner as required
    • Keep the kitchen clean
    • Cater and clean conference rooms before and after meetings
    • Set up special table arrangements in conference rooms: lift tables and put them away after meetings


    • Replace the receptionist during breaks and time off outside of working schedule
    • Answer the phone
    • Welcome and announce clients to the appropriate employees
    • Prepare mail sent by courier
    • Check the monthly billing of courier services

    Administration support

    • Empty and clean offices of employees leaving or arriving at BDO
    • Water the plants in the office
    • Perform any related task

    Education and Professional Skills/Knowledge

    • Ability to deliver quality work meeting the deadlines
    • Capable of working under pressure
    • Available to work extended hours, occasionally, on very short notice
    • Ability to perform tasks safely
    • Must be bilingual (written and verbal)
