    Position Summary
    We are currently seeking a Manager for our Transfer Pricing Group to begin immediately in Toronto. This is an opportunity to manage and grow a diversified portfolio of small and medium to large-sized Transfer Pricing clients. The successful candidate will contribute to strategic planning and client management initiatives as a means to continue growing our Transfer Pricing practice.


    Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

    • Applies specialized knowledge to anticipate, identify and address issues relevant to the client’s business

    • Beginning to develop a portfolio of clients

    • Develops and/or maintains positive client relationships (this may include travel to client sites)

    • Develops the capabilities of less experienced staff through coaching, knowledge transfer, internal training delivery, assignment of challenging work opportunities

    • Identifies and develops new business opportunities with existing clients

    • May conduct formal project/team performance reviews or give input to reviewers on team members

    • May contribute to the successful recruitment of new talent

    • May establish new business opportunities with new clients and apply marketing/selling skills

    • Plans, scopes and directs complex client assignments/projects, determining assignment costs, resources and fees for Partner approval

    • Provides both technical and project management leadership to team members for Transfer Pricing projects or assignments

    • Responsible for maintaining quality control standards

    • Accountable to act as a leader in the Firm, continually focused on employee engagement


    Education and Professional Skills/Knowledge

    • Professional designation required (CA, CMA, CGA or CPA)
    • 5 or more years of professional experience, part or all of which specializing within Transfer Pricing
    • Significant knowledge and expertise in Transfer Pricing
    • Ability to travel to BDO offices and different client sites
    • Ability to lead team members remotely throughout Canada
