    Position Summary

     

    We are currently seeking an entrepreneurial-minded Manager, Strategy and Operations to be a key contributor in the development of our “Digital Marketing Transformation” practice within our rapidly expanding Toronto office.  As a Manager, you will play a leading role in business development and the delivery of our marketing automation and business transformation consulting services.   

     

    We are seeking expertise and experience in the following areas:

    • Strategic and Operational Planning
    • Business Process Improvement / Reengineering
    • Marketing Program Development on Leading Platforms (Marketo, Pardot, Eloqua, Sitecore)
    • Digital Marketing Program Planning and Execution
    • Enterprise Data Integration
    • Data Analytics to Drive Enhanced Decision-making

    The successful candidate will require digital marketing automation skills coupled with strong project management and client relationship management competencies.

    Specific marketing automation experience should include:

     

    • Inbound optimization
    • Content Management
    • Integration of Marketing
    • Sales Readiness
    • Lead Nurturing  
    • Program Analytics
    • Web Performance

      

    Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

    • Deliver consulting projects from the proposal stage through invoicing with support from the senior managers and partners;
    • Conduct assignments in the relevant field of practice and ensure client satisfaction;
    • Develop working relationships with client contacts, build and grow lasting client relationships;
    • Responsible for on-time and on-budget project delivery with a high-level of quality;
    • Support RFP responses or proposals, building market eminence, and pursuing new client opportunities;
    • Building strong internal relationships with BDO and with other services across the firm;
    • Acting with professionalism and integrity when working with confidential and sensitive information;
    • Participate in the evolution of BDO’s intellectual capital for the practice;
    • Share knowledge and experience with peers and less experienced staff;
    • Maintain a proactive and logical approach to information gathering, with an ability to combine complex ideas and present information clearly and effectively;
    • Demonstrate and apply strong project management skills, inspire teamwork and responsibility with engagement team members, and use current technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness of deliverables and services.

     

    Education and Professional Skills/Knowledge:

    • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably within a management consulting / agency / other professional service environments
    • Demonstrated experience in developing digital marketing campaigns on one or more leading software platforms
    • Certified by one or more leading marketing automation software vendors (Marketo etc.)
    • A proven track record in maintaining client relationships
    • A high degree of professionalism and autonomy;
    • Proven facilitation and interview skills
    • Outstanding oral and written communication skills
    • Very strong and proven analytical skills
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • An ability to establish strong and positive relationships with colleagues
    • Professional credentials such as a CMC, MBA  will be considered an asset
