    Position Summary

     

    BDO is looking for an Executive Assistant to support senior leaders within our Advisory Services Practice. The position will be based out of our Markham (Toronto North) office, and report to the Managing Partner of BDO IT Solutions.

     

    To be successful in this position, the candidate must be results oriented, effective at prioritizing multiple tasks at various levels, able to handle confidential information, have strong communication skills, analytical and take the initiative to continuously look to improve the efficiency within the IT Solutions group. The candidate will play an integral part of operations within this group.

     

    Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

     

    • Providing direct administrative support to senior leadership within IT Solutions
    • Preparation of formal reports, proposals, presentations using MS and Adobe suites
    • Compiling and distributing financial and analytical information for the IT Solutions group leaders
    • Creating and finalizing communications at an internal and external level
    • Manage schedule(s) and coordinate group events and meetings for IT Solutions leadership team
    • Maintain and organize a record of all key client and personnel communications
    • Meeting minutes and distribution of meeting minutes to relevant groups

     

    Education and Professional Skills/Knowledge:

     

    • 5-7 years with executive support to senior members of staff
    • Must have post-secondary education
    • Proficient with Microsoft (especially Excel) and Adobe suites
    • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
    • Able to work independently or as part of a team
    • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and able to liaise with clients and staff
    • Creative problem solving skills
    • Prove ability to work with a confidential environment
    • Must be well organized and have the ability to multi-task
    • Flexible in work hours and taking on additional duties as assigned
    • Must be a team player
    • Must be interested in learning new software and open to both internal and external training programs
