BDO’s Financial Advisory Services (“FAS”) practice is growing! In our Toronto office, we are currently recruiting for a Financial Analyst/Senior Financial Analyst, Valuations. The successful candidate will be a university graduate with a degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a similar field who is actively pursuing or willing to pursue their Chartered Business Valuator (“CBV”) designation.
Our role in the FAS group is to provide Business Valuation, Business Plan and Financial Modelling Services, Litigation Support, M&A, Financing, and Damage Quantification services to internal and external clients across Canada. Our valuation services primarily include, but are not limited to: rendering of conclusions on the value of businesses, intangible assets, equity interests, financial instruments, and quantification of damages.
Summary of Position
The Financial Analyst/ Senior Financial Analyst will play an active role in supporting management in business valuation and related mandates. This includes valuations prepared in the context of financial reporting, tax planning, litigation support and transaction advisory purposes. The candidate will report to the Toronto Valuation Practice Leader.
