    Position Summary


    BDO Canada LLP is in the process of recruiting an experienced Microsoft Dynamics Practice Manager, with strong expertise in any of Dynamics NAV, AX and/or GP.


    Based out of our Calgary office, this individual will manage a team of professionals focused on implementing, supporting and training components of Dynamics Enterprise Resource Planning solutions at various client sites in Calgary and elsewhere in Alberta. Occasional travel to other parts of Western Canada, Eastern Canada and the United States may also be required.


    In addition, this individual will also be responsible for managing all aspects of simple to complex implementation projects as well as mentoring consultants on the team.

    Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

    • Manage and mentor a team of MS Dynamics Consultants
    • Provide pre- and post-sales support as required
    • Analyze client business requirements and objectives
    • Manage Microsoft Dynamics software projects at client sites
    • Provide client support and consultation regarding issues with configurations and implementations
    • Train BDO Solutions clients
    • Work with direct reports to build performance plans
    • Conduct yearly reviews of performance plans with direct reports
    • Provide regular day to day and career coaching

    Education and Professional Skills/Knowledge:

    • Previous people/team management experience
    • Previous consulting experience with Microsoft Dynamics products (NAV, AX or GP)
    • Design and configuration of Microsoft Dynamics (NAV, AX or GP)
    • University Degree or College Diploma in relevant discipline required.
    • Accounting Designation (CA, CGA, or CMA) an asset.
    • Microsoft Dynamics Certifications an asset.
    • The successful candidate should also be an experienced Microsoft Office applications user.
    • Excellent communication and interpretive skills. Communicating with clients and interpreting their needs will be a daily activity.
    • Be a committed team player. The success on each project depends on the combined efforts of the implementation team.
    • Be well organized and able to work well under pressure both from clients and from team members. Established deadlines must be met on all engagements.
    • Be flexible and adaptable to change. We implement change for diverse clients on a daily basis.
    • Be self-motivated. Learning new skills without prompting is expected.
    • Be willing to travel up to 25% out of province to the US and other countries
