Position Summary


The Senior Enterprise Application Support Analyst, reporting to the Manager, Enterprise Application Services, is responsible for handling critical enterprise applications support, as well as mentoring, training, and providing technical solutions and guidance for Enterprise application systems. This role is responsible for providing application support, services and working with vendors and business leaders to provide timely resolutions.


Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Required to take leadership working with complex technical application troubleshooting issues and managing projects for the Manager, Enterprise Application Services
  • Co-ordinate the software update process for all deployed applications including gathering or preparing requirements, maintaining test plans, liaising with the packaging team, coordinating application testing and maintaining the software deployment portal
  • Utilize effective communication and listening skills with clients and colleagues in the IT department to troubleshoot complex technical issues
  • Perform and participate in application root-cause analysis
  • Identify on-going support trends/issues pertaining to enterprise applications to assist in on-going service/support improvements
  • Provide technical leadership integrating new technologies into existing systems
  • Provide training and mentorship to other team members

Education and Professional Skills/Knowledge:

  • University Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or a related discipline preferred
  • 7+ years of experience with enterprise application support and services
  • 5+ years of experience working with SharePoint and other accounting (CCH, XCM, Ascend, File Assure, QuickBooks, etc.) applications
  • 2+ years of experience with SQL databases
  • Experience with Cloud based applications
  • Previous Project management is experience is an asset
