    Job Description (EN)

    BDO Canada Immigration Services Inc. is looking for a Senior Canadian Immigration Consultant to provide a full range of corporate and individual immigration services to our clients.

     

     

    Responsibilities: 

    • Act as the single point of contact for clients with respect to queries and live cases;
    • Assess immigration strategy and category of application;
    • Prepare complete applications for both corporate and individual immigration cases, with little supervision;
    • Manage timelines and caseflow on a daily basis, updating team regularly;
    • Provide updates and information to clients throughout the application process;
    • General administrative duties relating to file processing.

     

    Education, Professional Development and Work Experience: 

    • Must be a member in good standing with the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC);
    • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University preferred;
    • At least 3 years of immigration experience in a high-volume practice,
    • Expertise in permanent immigration applications: Express Entry, FSW, Provincial Programs, etc.;
    • Experience with temporary immigration applications: FTAs, ICTs, LMIAs, GSS/GTS, etc.;
    • Global immigration experience an asset;
    • Quebec registry of consultants (MICCQ) an asset;
    • Experience providing client-facing communications;
    • Thorough and current understanding of immigration legislation including the IRPA, IRPR, Manuals and case law;
    • Expert knowledge of immigration procedures and forms for CIC and ESDC;
    • Must be fluent in English. Proficiency in French and/or other languages is an asset.

     

    Technical & Professional Skills: 

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
    • Knowledge of INSZoom is an asset;
    • Complex problem solving abilities;
    • Excellent listening, oral and written communication skills;
    • Team-oriented, with ability to work independently
