Position Summary


BDO Canada LLP is in the process of recruiting an experienced Dynamics GP Senior Consultant. This individual will work with our team of professionals to train, support and implement components of the Microsoft Dynamics GP Enterprise Resource Planning solutions at various client sites throughout Ontario. Occasional travel to the United States, Eastern and Western Canada and the Caribbean may also be required.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Train BDO Solutions clients
  • Provide client support and consultation regarding issues with configurations and implementations
  • Implement KEY2ACT and Dynamics GP software at client sites
  • Prepare documents and report implementation status to project manager
  • Provide pre- and post-sales support as required
  • Analyze client business requirements and objectives

Practical experience in any or all of the following would be desirable:

  • Design and configuration of Dynamics GP
  • Design and configuration of KEY2ACT Job Cost, Service Management and/or Equipment Management
  • Face-to-face consultation with clients

*Experience with SQL Reporting Services and Power BI would be an asset.

*Experience with Dynamics GP Integration Manager and SmartConnect would be an asset.


Education and Professional Skills/Knowledge:

  • University Degree or College Diploma in relevant discipline required.
  • Accounting Designation (CA, CGA, or CMA) an asset.
  • KEY2ACT Job Cost and/or Service Management Certification an asset.
  • Microsoft Dynamics GP Finance and Distribution Certification required.
  • The candidate must be willing to achieve appropriate KEY2ACT and Microsoft certifications if not already held.
  • The successful candidate should also be an experienced Microsoft Office applications user.
  • Have excellent communication and interpretive skills. Communicating with clients and interpreting their needs will be a daily activity.
  • Be a committed team player. The success on each project depends on the combined efforts of the implementation team.
  • Be well organized and able to work well under pressure both from clients and from team members. Established deadlines must be met on all engagements.
  • Be flexible and adaptable to change. We implement change for diverse clients on a daily basis.
  • Be self-motivated. Learning new skills without prompting is expected.
  • Out of province and travel to the United States may be required.
