Job Description (EN)

BDO Canada is currently seeking an Executive Assistant within our Toronto National office. This position provides direct administrative support to our CEO and COO in our National Office. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and inquisitive individual with strong business acumen, communication and organizational skills.

You will be joining and working with a team of recognized experts responsible for delivering the overall firm strategy.  

 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Support the CEO and COO by managing their meeting schedules, expenses and travel arrangements
  • Prepare slide decks, reports and communications that support firm strategy
  • Develop a solid understanding of the firm’s cost structure and business model and assist the Directors with planning and budgeting processes
  • Capture meeting minutes and draft follow-up messages
  • Assist in supporting strategic group initiatives that contribute to delivering the firms’ strategy
  • Build relationships with key individuals across national and regional groups that will help accomplish objectives
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately and professionally

 

Education and Professional Skills/Knowledge:

  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree or diploma required
  • 4+ years of progressive, applicable experience
  • Prior professional services firm or large matrix organization experience is an asset
  • Demonstrates an inquisitive, positive and helpful attitude
  • Previous experience in supporting the delivery of strategic priorities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast moving environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong PowerPoint, Excel and Work skills
  • Strong writing skills with a solid command of English grammar
  • Strong Attention to detail and deadlines is essential
