Job Description (EN)

Summary

BDO Canada s.r.l./S.E.N.C.R.L./LLP is looking to hire a Billing and Administration Technician for our Crémazie Office. The incumbent will need to work with rigor and to be detail-oriented.

 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Perform billing of work in progress
  • Prepare project billing for clients as well as credit notes
  • Answer client requests regarding their billing
  • Follow up on accounts according to the list of work in progress
  • Perform analysis, prepare reports and schedules
  • Compile and input hours worked on client files, set and update time budgets
  • Follow up, update and collect accounts receivables
  • Address collection concerns with clients
  • Thoroughly follow up on collection arrangements agreed with clients and inform the controller of particular conditions and special measures
  • Submit to Legal counsel accounts receivables requiring formal notice
  • Prepare the daily deposits, as required
  • Complete deposit slips
  • Input checks in the computer system
  • Print a daily report of cashed cheques

Education, Abilities and Professional Knowledge

  • Diploma of college studies (DEC) in accounting and management or diploma of vocational studies (DVS) in administration
  • Minimum of 2 years of billing experience
  • Must be bilingual (French and English) - written and spoken
  • Knowledge of Excel and Word
  • Knowledge of Outlook and PUMA, an asset
  • Knowledge of accounting activities and bookkeeping
  • Meticulous, detail-oriented and observation skills
  • Analytical skills, ability to summarize and sound judgment
  • Show initiative, tactfulness and courtesy
